Made from lightweight and durable aluminium, the Ortles HMS C.3 M is a large pear-shaped HMS carabiner that can accommodate several knots and/or a half-hitch. Its main feature is the innovative design of its gate. The automatic locking gate with 2 functions allows you to switch modes depending on the situation. This gives you the simplicity and quick handling of a standard HMS carabiner, along with the security and protection of a category three locking carabiner when you need it. Excellent handling: quickly switch from a standard gate to a Safe Lock twist-pull in situations requiring higher safety reserves, with an easily identifiable locking indicator. Designed with a smart gate construction that opens wider to receive or remove knots more easily, further improved by the rounded Keylock nose to avoid snagging.
